Privacy Policy
Last updated May 29, 2026 - how Kaydence handles your information.
Note: this is a starting template - review it with legal counsel and tailor it to your actual data practices before launch. It describes how Kaydence(“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, sign up, book a call, or use our products and services (together, the “Services”).
Overview
We respect your privacy and aim to be straightforward about the data we handle. Kaydence reads your store and generates Klaviyo email flows, copy, and creative, then pushes the ones you pick into your Klaviyo account. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please don’t use the Services.
Information we collect
We collect a few kinds of information, described below.
Information you provide
When you sign up, contact us, book a call, or otherwise interact with us, you may give us:
- Account details - your name, email, brand or store name, and login credentials.
- Communications - messages you send us, support requests, chat revisions you make to drafted flows, and the contents of forms you submit.
- Store and brand inputs - the store URL you paste in, product links and product images, brand voice and style preferences, and any copy or assets you upload to generate flows.
- Billing information - handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Data from your store and connected accounts
When you connect a store or your Klaviyo account, we access the data needed to read your brand and build your flows - for example product and catalog details, customer and subscriber lists, segment definitions, and email-engagement data such as opens, clicks, orders, and purchase history. We use this to auto-segment audiences and generate flows, and we act on your direction when we push approved flows into Klaviyo. You control which flows get imported, and nothing goes live without you.
Content we generate for you
The flows, segments, copy, and composited creative Kaydence drafts from your inputs are stored so you can review, revise, and import them. You can edit or delete generated content, and deleting your account removes it on the timeline described under Data retention.
Usage & device data
When you use the Services, we automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
Cookies
We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used. See Cookies & tracking below for details and your choices.

Cookies & tracking
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use essential cookies that are required for the Services to function (for example, to keep you logged in), and analytics cookies that help us understand usage so we can improve. - Service providers. Vendors that process data on our behalf - such as cloud hosting, analytics, image generation and processing, and payment processing - under contracts that require them to protect it.
- Klaviyo and connected platforms. When you connect your Klaviyo account, Klaviyo acts as a processor for the flows and content you choose to import, and we exchange data with it on your direction to read your account and push approved flows. Your use of Klaviyo and any other store platform you connect is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
- Legal & safety. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kaydence, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we’ll continue to protect your information consistent with this policy.
- With your direction. When you ask us to share information or connect a third-party integration.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Store inputs, connected customer and subscriber data, and the flows and creative we generate are retained while your account is active so you can revise and reuse them. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion of your account at any time - see Your rights below.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information - including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Opt out of certain processing, including marketing communications, by following the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
These rights cover the personal data we hold about you as an account holder. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@kaydence.ai. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live. When we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection in line with applicable law, including using recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we’ll take steps to delete it.
